Arts-in-the-Loft: Explorations in Drawing Class

A 6-week program for ages 13-21. Mondays, February 26-April 1, 2024, from 6-7:30pm. Choose the classes you’d like to attend, or take all. Explore a variety of drawing media, (pencil, color pencil, hard pastel, pen & ink, water soluble marker, gel pens, charcoal) along with a variety of of drawing papers and create dynamic drawings combining various media using multiple techniques. Emphasis will be placed on good observational drawing skills as a focal point throughout. Use objects & subjects of your choosing along with others provided. Consideration will be given to composition, line, value, color, texture, pattern & unity. Famous & contemporary artists’ works will be shared for inspiration & discussion.
