Debra Ciccone OConnell Studio & Teaching Artist is a visual storyteller, painter, illustrator and art educator who works from her own studio in Chelmsford where she resides with her husband and two children. In her work she uses soft pastel, acrylic paint, foam plate printing, cut paper collage along with other drawing, painting and sculptural media. Debra holds both a BFA and MA Ed degree in Visual Art and Art Education respectively from Plymouth State University in NH where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and received the Karl Drerup Award for Excellence in achievement in the Visual Arts in 2004. During her professional career she has had much of her work exhibited in solo, juried, and group shows. Her paintings are held in private and public collections throughout New England as well as in other areas of the United States.
