Sculptural Book Making

A 4-week program for ages 12+, February 28-March 20, 2024, Wednesdays from 3-4:30pm. Gather your favorite images, materials, ephemera, scrapbooking papers,
photographs & ideas to bring to this fun workshop where you will select from 3 types of sculpted books (accordion, star & foldout). Step-by-step, create a beautiful one-of-a-kind book. Look to artists Akayo Sakanishi & Lizzie Buckmaster Dove for inspiration. All materials will be provided along with additional decorative media (paints, ink, stamps…).

Post-program public exhibit of student works (optional) May 13, 2024, 7-8pm.
