A request for records in the sudden resignation of former Fire Chief Richard Rochon was denied by the Massachusetts Supervisor of Records’ office on Friday.
The request, made by Samantha Allen of the Lowell Sun, was denied under the personnel exception of the state’s Public Records law. (see attached)
An April 2013 report by consultant Marc Wey on the Department was also obtained (see attached), although much of the report was redacted, including all of its “negatives.”
