Town Of Westford Looking To Hire Police/Fire Dispatcher

As the town builds a new Police/Fire Department Communication Center over the next few months, it hopes to also hire a new employee for that center.

A Telecommunicator/Fire Alarm Operator is wanted, with salary ranging from $18.43 to $23.90 per hour.

Applicants will be given preference is they have experience with CJIS, E9-1-1, Emergency Medical Dispatch and C.P.R training and certification.

Previous experience as a police and/or fire alarm operator as well as knowledge of computer aided dispatch systems is a bonus.

Anyone applying must have a high school diploma or equivalency and must be willing to work nights, mornings, holidays and weekends.

Additionally, all applicants must live within 20 miles of Westford.
