Holiday Boxwood Tree Workshop & Fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity
Westford residents are invited to join Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell for an afternoon of creativity making a holiday boxwood tree in the red barn at Rose of Sharon at Blossom Hill, on Sunday, Dec. 4 from 3 – 4:30 p.m., in Dunstable.
Owner, Melissa Oothout, will provide all the materials, professional instruction, and light refreshments for all participants.
Using fresh snipped pieces of boxwood, participants will learn how to assemble the tree in oasis to resemble an evergreen tree. These trees (10 inches wide by 8 inches high) make tabletop decorations and will last through the holiday season.
This fundraiser is open to the public and the cost is $25 per person.
A portion of the proceeds will support upcoming affordable home build & critical home repair projects in Lowell, Tewksbury, and Westford in 2017.
Reidents are asked to register by Nov. 28 (Space is limited)
