Transportation Information
Besides the numerous activities happening at the senior center, transportation services are provided for Westford residents ages 60 and older, and the disabled. Vans will transport residents Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., to doctor appointments, grocery shopping, errands and more. Sandwhich Generation Series – It’s Not  About the Chandelier
This presentation focuses on how to select a nursing center. Ellen Levinson, the executive director of the Lifecare Nashoba Valley, will talk about what to look for and what questions to ask before choosing a place to get short term rehabilitation services or long term care. Tuesday, July 25 at 6 p.m. at the Cameron Senior Center at 20 Pleasant Street, Westford. These sessions are for all ages. Residents can call 978 692 5523 to register.
Tax Relief Coffee Hours
The newly formed Tax Relief Committee for Seniors, Low Income, and Disabled (SLIDTR) is hosting two coffee hours on Friday, July 28 at 11 a.m. and Monday, Aug. 21 at 10 a.m. at the Cameron Senior Center, 20 Pleasant St. This is an opportunity for all Westford homeowners to discuss current property tax exemptions, alternative ideas and for the committee to hear concerns. Residents are asked to register by calling 978 692 5523.
