Cameron Cook of Westford has been selected as a September Student of the Month at Nashoba Valley Technical High School.
Cameron, son of Lewis Cook and Tracy LeBlanc, is a sophomore in TV & Media Production/Theatre Arts. He is a member of the Theatre Club and the Gay Straight Alliance. He will play a small role in the Theatre Club’s upcoming production of the musical “Xanadu,” and he said he hopes to play larger roles in future productions. He hopes to attend college after graduation and to work in the music industry.
Cameron was nominated by Math Instructor Jodie Murphy, who wrote, “He is an excellent math student and a very helpful individual. He will help other students who are struggling. If I notice a student struggling and I am busy, I can always ask him to assist that student. In addition, he consistently offers to help me by offering to pass back homework or pass out items to his class. I feel he is an exemplary Nashoba Tech student.”
Cameron is the same way in TV & Media Production/Theatre Arts, according to Instructor Emily Smith, who wrote, “He is always smiling and is a pleasure to have each day in our program. He is eager to learn about the entertainment industry, and he brings joy to the classroom and into rehearsals after school.”
