Expanded Browsing Collection Access: All collections are now open to adults for browsing during our in-house browsing appointments. Appointments are for 45 minutes and are available on the hour Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and Wednesday evening at 7:00 and 8:00 p.m.  Each reservation is for one person, with a limit of 10 people per hour and disinfection occurring prior to the next appointment. Walk in appointments are accepted during those times if we aren’t at maximum capacity. Make an appointment via our Events Calendar (select a date and sign up under “Main Floor browsing) or call the Information Desk at 978-399-2304.

Unless otherwise noted, all of our programs are generously funded by the Friends of the Library.

Virtual Westford Job Seekers Meeting: Wed., May 19 at 3:00 p.m. Join us for “Focus On 3 Questions To Help You Really Identify and Articulate What You Want!” with Jack Wang. To attend a WJS Meeting, please email Dina Kanabar at dkanabar@westfordma.gov.  Attendees will receive a link to access the Zoom Meeting via email. Weekly topics may be found on our job seekers web page.

Virtual Story Time Ballet Sleeping Beauty with the Dream Ballet School: Tue, May 18 at 10:30 a.m. In this interactive program, Emily Gilstrap of the Dream Ballet School presents a virtual adventure that brings the story of Sleeping Beauty to life through music and dance. Register for this program through the Library Events Calendar. Your registration confirmation includes the Zoom invitation link and passcode.

Virtual Sheet Pan Meals with Liz Barbour: Thu., May 20 at 7 p.m. Cooking on a large pan makes your meal crispy, colorful, and intensely flavorful. Chef Liz Barbour will demonstrate two recipes and give you ideas for many more. Register for this program through the Library Events Calendar to get the Zoom link. Questions? Virtual Where Do We Go From Here? Why We Need Reparations for Black Americans: Thu., May 25 at 7:00 p.m. Join Dr. Brandon Crowley as he speaks about the economic injustices that have persisted since slavery and how these injustices have led to a wealth gap between white and Black Americans. How can we as a nation go about righting these wrongs? What role would reparations play and how would eligibility be determined? Register for this program through the Library Events Calendar. This program will also be live streamed to Facebook where registration is not required. Hosted and presented in partnership with the Burlington Public Library and made available to Westford residents.

Tax Forms at the Library: Federal and MA state tax filing deadlines have both been

extended until May 17th. Need access to a PC, copier, printer or fax? Book an in-house

browsing appointment and our Librarians will be happy to assist you. We still have

plenty of Federal and MA tax forms available. Don’t have time to come in? Call the

Information Desk (978-399-2304) and we will pull or print out tax forms for you to pick

up during Curbside Hours. 

Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum: A prized collection of art, architecture, textiles, furniture, flowers and plants is a T stop away. Our Friends funded pass admits up to 4 people based on availability. Check out our website or call the Library for reservations.
