WESTFORD — Ginger, a 5-year-old female Chocolate Labrador is this week’s Adoptable Pet of the Week.
“She’s a chunky chocolate lab who is the sweetest little baby,” Emilia, a volunteer with the Lowell Humane Society told WestfordCAT.
“She has a very calm and relaxing demeanor,” she added.
Ginger would do well in a home with children and other animals with a proper introduction. On paper, Ginger is claimed to be an emotional support animal.
Ginger is currently on heartworm treatment, which can last three to six months.
