The Town of Westford is seeking candidates for the Agricultural Commission.
Duties of those on the
board include promoting agricultural-based economic opportunities for Westford residents and businesses, assisting in agricultural conflicts, encouraging the pursuit of agriculture in town and educating the community on the benefits of local agriculture.
The board as a whole consists of three active farmers within Westford and two members who are interested in agriculture in general.
Terms range from two to three years.
