Schedule Changes in Local Government

Just a reminder, the regularly scheduled Selectmen’s meeting on Tuesday has been cancelled. The Aug. 26 meeting is still in place.

The Conservation Commission has also changed its meetings from the first and third Wednesdays of the month for the rest of 2014, instead scheduling their meetings for the rest of the year on Sept. 10, Oct. 1 and 15, Nov. 5 and 19, and Dec. 10.

Monday’s meetings include the Permanent Town Building Committee (6:30 p.m., Cameron Senior Center), Hunting Policy Committee (7 p.m., Mary Atwood Room of the Library), the Library Trustees (7 p.m., Library first floor meeting room), Board of Health (7 p.m., Westford Town Hall – Main Meeting Room), Agricultural Commission (7:30 p.m., Westford Town Hall – Conference Room B), and the Energy Committee (7:30 p.m., Police Station Training Room)

Words of Encouragement From Pastor Steve of the Lowell Assembly of God

Have I not commanded you?

Be strong and courageous.

Do not be terrified;

do not be discouraged,

for the LORD your God will be with you

wherever you go.”
