Nabnasset’s Ryan Walsh isn’t old enough to drive, but he is old enough to require a permit. Fortunately for him, that permit isn’t going to cost anything.
At last Monday’s Board of Health meeting, a request to reduce the fee for a Residential Kitchen Permit was approved by a 4-0-0 vote.
Submitted by Ryan’s parents, Jan and Chris, the reduction itself was reduced after it was discovered that the board could reduce the fee all the way from $100 to $0.
Walsh currently operates a business near Old Nab he calls “Wubb’s Wagon,” selling water and other items to area motorists.
Working after school and during the summer, Walsh told the board he has made $400 in profits so far.
