It’s a date that Westford has been eagerly anticipating for months, if not years; although it was a date still shrouded in mystery. Until Monday.
Whole Foods Market announced on Monday afternoon that it will be performing its traditional bread-breaking ceremony to christen Westford’s location on Wednesday, May 4 at 9:45 a.m.
The 43,000 square foot store, Whole Foods Market’s 31st Massachusetts location, will employ approximately 200 full and part time team members.
Whole Foods announced they would be moving into Westford Valley Marketplace on Littleton Road on 2013, replacing a former Market Basket location.
Members of the public are welcome to take part in the ceremony, which will be followed by events throughout the day.
The store hours will be 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., 7 days a week.
