WESTFORD — Voters may not get Election Day off, but Westford students will.

Westford Parks and Recreation Department is offering a field trip for elementary and middle school students on their day off.

The department is taking students to Mel’s Funway Park in Litchfield, New Hampshire. The park offers batting cages, bumper boats, mini golf and go carts.

Students do not need to be part of regular after-school programming, according to the department’s social media page.

The trip costs $85 per student, which includes one go kart ride, one bumper boat ride, one round of mini golf, one laser tag game, one laser maze game and four batting cage tokens.

Students who are unable to ride the go karts due to height restrictions will have the option of another bumper boat ride or round of mini golf, according to the department.

Drop off and pick up is at Crisafulli Elementary School. The program takes place between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Parents have the option of early drop-off between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. and an extended day from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. for an additional $10 each.

Parents are asked to send their child with lunch, snacks and a water bottle. Spending money is an option, according to the department.
