WESTFORD — Westford Academy Girls’ Soccer lost 2-1 to Concord-Carlisle at their Thursday, Oct. 12 home game.
Concord-Carlisle scored its first goal right off the bat, three minutes into the game. Concord-Carlisle scored its second goal at the halfway through the first half. Even still, the Ghosts kept up a good defense.
A swift kick by senior captain Urvi Pai left Concord-Carlisle’s goalkeeper confused, landing the Ghosts’ first goal in the final five minutes of the game.
Neither team scored during the second half, ending the game 2-1.
