WESTFORD β€” What a difference 24 hours makes.

A winter storm β€” slated to dump eight to 12 inches of snow on Westford ahead of the Tuesday morning commute, is now predicted to drop four to six inches of snow on the region, according to updated projections from the National Weather Service.

A winter storm warning remains effective from 1 a.m. on Feb. 13 to 1 a.m. on Feb. 14.

Significant snowfall will now impact the South Shore and Cape Cod as the storm shifts southwards.

Westford Public Schools will remain closed on Feb. 13. The WestfordCAT studio will also be closed on Feb. 13.

Additionally, trash and recycling pick-up is delayed by one day.

Residents should still expect delays during their Tuesday morning commute.
