Westford Board of Health Shares Several Product Recalls

The Westford Board of Health shared several product recalls from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration this week.

La Terra Fina Organic Spinach Dip and Superior Products’ Simply Balanced 10 oz. Organic Spinach have been recalled for concerns of listeria, an organism that can cause a variety of illnesses ranging from diarrhea to miscarriages in women.

Town HallThe La Terra Fina products were distributed in Costco stores while the Superior Products’ spinach was found in Target stores.

Amy’s Kitchen also released a listeria recall for some of its lasagna, rice and pizza products sold in various stores.

The Board of Health also released alerts about undeclared walnuts in Trader Joe’s Cinnamon Almonds, a salmonella risk in some of Nutiva’s O’Coconut products and undeclared milk in a Korean snack named Corn Bba.
