Baseball is America’s pastime, and on July 26, one Westford organization hopes to bring that pastime to those with memory-related illnesses.
Bridges by EPOCH, a memory care assisted living community in Westford, is looking to raise money to support the Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s Campaign.
And in order to raise that money, they’re selling 150 tickets to an upcoming Lowell Spinners game in what they see as their largest fundraising effort of the year.
Many of the tickets will also be provided for community residents at Bridges by EPOCH.
According to Life and Enrichment Director Abbi Laushine, the chance to see a game with family and friends has caused quite the buzz in the community.
“Baseball is an important part for the residents,” says Laushine. “They’re very excited to attend a game and being able to go out and attend a game again is very important for them.
Tickets are available for $20 and can be obtained by claling 978-692-9541 or by visiting Bridges by EPOCH at 108 Littleton Rd.
