The Westford Business Association was officially formed on Monday, dedicating itself to building the growth and vitality of Westford businesses in partnership with the Westford community.
As part of its mission, the group will aim to bring business together with the community and create awareness of Westford businesses, lend education and guidance to local business owners and promote the town to outside companies as a viable business location.
“It’s exciting to have an organization in town that will be dedicated to supporting our local business environment,” said Emily Benson, Owner of The Fashion Truck, a small business located on Main Street.

Founding members come from a wide array of big and small businesses in town, and charter memberships are now open to all business owners for a small fee.
“We are very grateful for this opportunity to serve the community,” said Westford Business Association steering committee chairman Dan Bush. “This has been goal of the Westford Business community for some time, and we are very pleased to see the support not only from local businesses for the formation of the Association, but also the strong support from Town Manager Jodi Ross and the Westford Economic Development team lead by Tom Barry and Bill Nussbum.”
